Laurence Baldwin (Class of 1938) has the distinction of flying 66 successful missions over Germany in World War II as the pilot of a B-26 bomber
Dennis Packee (Class 0f 1962) Midwest Auto Parts at the age of 23 and ran this very successful business for the next 44 years and Reiman's Harley-Davidson for the past 18 years.
Rick Witte (Class of 1976) has established a successful career in public law as a partner in a large, Houston law firm.
Melinda Shimmin (Class of 1988) after getting an RN degree in 1991, a BSN degree in 2006, and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree in 2009 now works at St. Lukes Medical Center
David Currier (Class of 2002) volunteered to help Habitat for Humanity rebuild New Orleans after the Category 5 hurricane struck in 2005.


Frank Craig (1860 - 1943) spent many years in education. . In 1903 he was hired as principal of a new grade school being built in Wethersfield. He planted over 200 trees and a number of flower beds on the commons. He was a principal and superintendent until his retirement from Wethersfield in 1918.
Denny Nelson (Class of 1964) After leaving the bright lights of the NFL and a Super Bowl win, the 1964 Wethersfield High School graduate came back to the family farm and has been giving back to the community and Wethersfield schools ever since.

General Information

---> Wethersfield is a grade Pre-K to 12 public school district with a student population of approximately 700 students. The town of Wethersfield was founded in 1836 by settlers from Wethersfield, Conneticut and will be celebrating its 150 year anniversary during the 2011-2012 school year. Although the town of Wethersfield merged with the town of Kewanee, Wethersfield Township and Wethersfield School District still remain and are a vital part of the City of Kewanee.
