Congratulations to the Annawan Braves (5-0) on their back-to-back Championships at the Wally Keller Tournament. Bureau Valley (4-1) finished as Tournament runner-up, while Elmwood (3-2) is our Third-Place team. See you all next year!

After reading Turkey Trouble, the 1st grade students participated in a fun at-home project to disguise Tom Turkey! The winners were: 1st Place: Haidyn F. with a creative Ghost Turkey, 2nd Place: Allison G. with a clever Camo Leaf Turkey, and 3rd Place: Abel H. with an adorable Minions Turkey. Great job to everyone who participated!

Recently, WES students enjoyed an assembly put on by Buffy Coleman. His message focused on encouraging each student to become high achievers in pursuit of their goals, maximizing their ability in the classroom and to be the very best in team sports or any extracurricular activities in which they participate in.


Yesterday, K-3rd classroom incentive winners earned a trip to McDonald's in the Goose Mobile for raising the most money in their class for the recent PATT Fall Fundraiser! As a group, they decided where they'd like to eat, ordered their own meals, and held doors open for incoming customers. 4th-6th winners will earn their incentive after Thanksgiving Break.




Today, the pre-k went to the Arcadia Fun Center in Geneseo. The students had fun bowling and playing video games.


Mrs. Bystry and the lunchroom staff want to extend a huge thank you to Patricia Hepner for the generous donation to the lunch program in honor of family members Terry and Cindy Looney and Jon, Amanda, and Addison Looney. Ms. Hepner appreciates the work that all the cafeteria staff do to feed our young people.

Pre-K students recently learned about spiders. They learned that they can be helpful and many things that we use are made from the silk that they spin.


Last week, Kindergarten visited the Kewanee Public Library for story time and to check out their first book with their very own library card!


For the past week, Bridgeway has been educating our Sophomore Health Class about Mental Health First Aid and Suicide Help Training.
