AW Titans Sports report for Saturday:
The baseball (19-11) season ended on Friday night with a 4-1 loss to Henry.
The softball (19-18)) season ended on Saturday with a 3-1 loss to Henry.
Girls' State Track Finals results placed the 4x800m Relay team 11th and Cam Anderson finished 11th (PR) in the 800m.

The AW Titans Softball team will play for the Class 1A Regional Championship at 10:00 am on Saturday at Howe's Park! The Lady Titans defeated Stark County 5-3 tonight. Next opponent is Henry-Senachwine! Go Titans!

The A-W Titans Girls track team competes at the IHSA State Track meet starting today at Eastern Illinois University. Best of luck to our girls!!

Mrs. Kegebein and the WHS art students will be hosting some summer art fun for incoming 2nd–8th graders! Join them June 30–July 3 for four days of creativity, color, and hands-on art projects! From painting to slime, students will explore their imagination and make amazing creations. Don’t miss this awesome opportunity. State Bound! Go crush it girls!

The 5th grade has been exploring natural disasters and the components of disaster relief efforts. As a culminating activity, students applied their learning by participating in the Egg Drop Challenge, simulating the safe and accurate delivery of emergency supplies. Working within specific material and time constraints, teams designed and tested their own delivery systems. Congratulations to the winning teams!

Due to the tornado warning, students may be delayed slightly at dismissal today. The sirens just stopped. Be safe tonight.
Freshman English is wrapping up their year with a fun and competitive twist! Students worked in teams to solve a riddle, create a cipher, and decode questions focused on figurative language and etymology. It is a fast-paced, team-based challenge that blends critical thinking, collaboration, and a whole lot of fun.

Today's IHSA Regional Softball game in Annawan have been postponed due to field conditions. Today's scheduled game will be played tomorrow. The AW Titans Softball team will now play on Thursday at Howe's Park at 4:00 pm v. Stark County.
3rd graders are practicing their combination locks for their 4th grade year! A total of 12 students have already mastered their left and right spins, opening a lock! Phenomenal grit, perseverance, and attitude!
