Congratulations to the first-grade authors on publishing their book, Animal Reports! These students put a lot of effort into researching their chosen animals and creating both factual content and illustrations. They had the help of 8th grade digital literacy students who assisted them with their final drafts. This is a wonderful achievement and a great way for first-graders to learn and share their knowledge. Keep up the great work, young authors!

Mrs. Walk gave students a "cup challenge today" for her last day. The students had to move ten cups without using their hands. They were required to use good communication skills, teamwork and perseverance to stack the cups into a tower. All the students exhibited positive communication skills even when they became frustrated if their cup got knocked on the floor or their towers fell. They were persistent until all groups had completed their challenge.

Jesus Perez finished a desk for his bedroom made of oak and stained a dark walnut color. He did an excellent job.
