Freshman are diving deep into literary conflicts through a Holocaust memoir. They’re uncovering how oppression shapes every decision, relationship, and act of survival. As they connect historical injustices to character motivations, they are discovering the importance of empathy and moral courage.
Junior high students are exploring the exciting Olympic events of bobsled and luge in PE class. Students are gaining a deeper appreciation for the athleticism, teamwork, and precision needed to compete at the Olympic level.

Eighth-grade ELA students engaged in an interactive partner activity using dice to expand and strengthen sentences in preparation for their upcoming personal narrative writing. Working collaboratively, students transformed dull, basic sentences into more vivid and engaging ones by intentionally adding adverbs, adjectives, and figurative language, as well as varying sentence length and complexity. This hands-on practice helped students develop the descriptive language and sentence fluency needed to enhance their narrative writing.
