⛷️ Going for the Gold: Second Grade Ski Jump! As Ms. Woller’s class wrapped up their two-week journey exploring the different events of the Olympic Games, the classroom turned into a winter sports arena! Using straw rockets, students became physics experts, studying how the force of their "wind" (breath) and the angle of their jump determined who reached the furthest distance. The second graders measured their "jumps" just like Olympic officials to see who could land the longest flight—and after some record-breaking attempts, they crowned an official Olympic Gold Medalist in the end!

Some of our high school art students just wrapped up an incredible Pop Art Self-Portrait Project—and the results are AMAZING! Blending art and technology, students used their Chromebooks to capture reference photos and explored AI-generated comic-style inspiration. After studying Roy Lichtenstein and the key features of Pop Art—bold outlines, bright colors, Ben-Day dots, and expressive emotion—they used the grid method to carefully transfer their images with accuracy and detail. Each portrait reflects personal creativity while building patience, confidence, and artistic skill. We are so proud of their focus, growth, and willingness to try something new!

We had a great student section supporting our Junior High Lady Geese volleyball teams tonight! Both squads were victorious!
