In preparation for Earth Day, our amazing Key Club members painted kindness rocks with uplifting messages and colorful designs! But they didn’t stop there—our high schoolers teamed up with 2nd and 3rd graders to place them in the rock garden along the Wethersfield School's walking path. Now, every step along the path is filled with positivity, encouragement, and a little extra love for our planet. Great job, Key Club and future leaders!

The Kewanee Rotary Club has once again demonstrated its generosity by providing every third-grade student with the opportunity to select books through the Scholastic Book Order. Each student was able to choose one or two titles of personal interest to take home and enjoy. We are truly thankful for the Rotary Club’s continued support and commitment to fostering a love of reading in our students.

During the month of March, 4th and 5th-grade students explored instruments from both the band and orchestra. As part of their learning, students collaborated on a group project focused on a chosen instrument of interest. Their research included the instrument's history, notable musicians who have played it, its materials, and interesting facts. Using their findings, students created Google Slide presentations to share with their classmates. Due to the elementary roller skating schedule, classes were combined, allowing students to view and engage with presentations from other sections. Their hard work and enthusiasm were evident throughout the project, resulting in excellent presentations.

Join us this evening for an incredible showcase of student artwork! The exhibit opens to the public at 6:00 PM—don't miss this opportunity to celebrate our talented artists.
